Maggie Bride: Jasmine… In A Blush Wedding Dress

Real Weddings | November 29, 2013

Jasmine had already picked a wedding dress, and didn’t plan on changing that. One day, while browsing Pinterest, Jasmine decided to type in “pink wedding dresses,” but “just for fun,” as she said. Our stunning Divina gown popped up, and Jasmine was smitten. “I fell madly in love and had to try it on. I called every bridal boutique in town until I found a location with the dress. All it took was for me to try it on and that was it. I was sold. I mean, come on people! A pink wedding gown!” We’re equally as smitten with Jasmine’s gorgeous wedding, pictured below. Dress: Divina

Favorite part of the dress: “The color and all of the textures. I loved the train as well. Just thinking about it makes me want to put it on again.”

Favorite wedding day moment: “The moment our pastor said “You may now kiss your bride.” This was me and Alex’s (my hubby) first kiss… EVER !!!!”

Advice for future brides: “It sounds so cliché but really, enjoy every single day of being engaged, of planning the big day, and remembering why you’re even doing all of it in the first place. Don’t let the little things rob you of your joy. One thing at a time ”

How did you and your now husband meet? “My ridiculously amazing and handsome husband is from Australia but we have known each other for years. He was down here in southern California visiting for the fifth time and we had spent a lot of time together, much more than those surface-level conversations we were used to. During this time he shared with me his life goals and dreams and what he thought life was all about. I was hooked. It was right then I said to myself, ‘I am going to marry this guy! And here we are, two years later, Mr. & Mrs.”

Your wedding in one word: “Perfect.”
