How did you feel in your wedding dress?
Absolutely perfect! Everything about this dress was me. The shape made me feel beautiful, sexy, and confident.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
Our ceremony was held beneath a stunning Live Oak fixed in front of a beautiful lake. Our colors were green, white, silver, and (of course) black. We went for a dark romantic, nature vibe - wood flowers, animal skull center pieces, and a lot of natural wood and greenery. Our processional featured a custom piano mix of our favorite pop-punk songs. Our reception consisted of outdoor yard games, signature drinks (feat. our cats Norman, Jack, and Lynkoln), and a dance floor lit by foam glow sticks.

THE Dress of My Dreams
What was your favorite feature?
I love the intricate lace detailing, as well as the extremely long train. I wanted my dress to be bold and dramatic, yet elegant.
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I felt flawless in my wedding dress. In fact, I am converting my dress into a Smooth style ballroom competition gown.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
My husband and I met 14 years ago on an emo website, so choosing a black dress was a no-brainer. We had our wedding in my hometown of Huntsville, Alabama at Campus no. 805. Our theme was moody fantasy, and it truly was the most stunning dark, moody, fairytale I could have ever imagined.

What was your favorite feature?
The low cut back with such beautiful detailing
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I had my first dress try on at 12 weeks postpartum and even though my body wasn’t feeling entirely like my own from the moment I put the Zander lane on I felt amazing. I certainly changed a few guests opinions on black wedding dressing, I even received a cheering standing ovation as I made my entrance. The dress was just everything I ever imagined and more. In the evening I added the detachable sleeves which just gave the dress even more depth and the extra wow factor.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
We were married at Indigo Beach Club in the beautiful village of Kalkan, Turkey. Our waterfront ceremony started at 5 pm and the celebrations lasted until 4 am! The day was everything that we wanted and we were surrounded by so much love from our 65 guests who joined us from around the globe.
