Our wedding day was 12th March 2022 at Montrose House Sutton Forest, after all the COVID stress and then the floods our day was perfect with beautiful weather! We shared our day with closest friends and family and it was magical. Everyone loved my dress and I added on some detachable sleeves! I carried my own vow book to the ceremony in my dress pockets which was by far the most talked about feature of my dress haha

What was your favorite feature?

My seamstress added a beautiful bustle that made dancing fun and walking around with ease. She also found the perfect veil that went so well with my dress.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt very comfortable all day in my dress.

It was a clear blue sky day with perfect weather. We had a a beautiful ceremony, followed by a delicious dinner from Old Spaghetti Factory. And to end the night with a reception we won’t forget with lots of dancing, games, and great music!

I adored the gorgeous long train, the clean classic square neck …and of course…the pockets!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

Not to sound too cliché, but I felt so dreamy. I sincerely felt as though I looked like I had been plucked out of fairytale.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

My husband, Jens, and I had a small destination wedding at a gorgeous old manor in Denmark-steps away from the Baltic Sea. He and I are both coaches, we spend the vast majority of our lives away from family and sporting athletic attire. It was lovely to feel elegant for a day and get see our nearest and dearest dressed to perfection as well. Nephews running around and our loved ones becoming acquainted with one another as we celebrated our marriage was a beautiful day, never to be forgotten!

What was your favorite feature?

I love that Selena is a simple and classic ball gown WITH POCKETS. My favorite part of all of it though was the Lavinia detachable train. The colorful 3-D flowers had all my guests in awe. I am obsessed with this thing. I felt so beautiful!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

My dress was very comfortable! We got married in the heat of July and I was worried I would melt! I stayed surprisingly cool and was able to stay in my dress and dance in it all evening.

We got married on July 8th at Louland Falls. It was an outside ceremony and reception. We skipped the traditional stuff like the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and the garter toss. We prioritized dancing with each other all night and it was perfect! No regrets!

it has pockets!! it is a simple but so effective and timeless. i love the buttons going all the way down the back. I think i will love this dress for years to come

On the 16th of july 2022 me and my childhood sweetheart got married in the english countryside. We had perfect sun all day and enjoyed the most magical day of our lives with all of our friends and family. The reaction my husband gave when he saw me walk down the isle in my wedding dress is one i will never forget. memories to last a lifetime made even more special thanks to the absolutely beautiful Selina wedding dress!

What was your favorite feature?

I loved the elegance of the Selena ball gown. It felt timeless and classic with the square neckline and box pleats. I always envisioned a long train with buttons down the back and this dress checked every box on my list! Not to mention, it also has pockets which is always a bonus! I added a belt for a little extra sparkle, but the dress is also beautiful on its own. Buy the Selena gown, you will not be disappointed!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt absolutely radiant and beautiful in my wedding dress. Everyone (men included) talked about my dress for days to come after my wedding. I felt elegant and timeless. My vision for my wedding dress has always been a dress that would withstand the test of time and I believe this dress will do just that!

My husband is an active duty member in the Navy and we are stationed in California. Yet, we met in Pennsylvania, which is where I am from, so we decided to get married in Pennsylvania. Our wedding was in September, at the onset of fall. Our colors were burgundy, pink, ivory, greenery, and gold. Our wedding was classic and formal, modern traditional. It was perfectly us and we felt like we were in a fairytale on our wedding day! My dress and his uniform were absolutely perfect!

What was your favorite feature?

The material was beautiful and the train and buttons were gorgeous.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt perfect - so comfortable - like a bride without being 'over the top' - I received so many compliments on my dress, everyone loved it. Someone said I looked regal - which was my favorite!

The day was wonderful! Mass in the church where I grew up, then reception at a beautiful golf/country club.

What was your favorite feature?

I loved the gorgeous long train with the elegant buttons trailing down. The pockets were a fun surprise and the gown was so easy to bustle for the dance floor. A timeless dress filled with elegance. Such a versatile dress, I decided to add on cathedral length wings instead of a veil, worked so incredibly well.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like I was floating on air, nothing could stop me. Comfortable, well supported, regal and like the most beautiful version of myself. This grand dress provided the perfect juxtaposition to the rustic venue we chose.

An intimate ceremony of 12 family and our fur babies, followed by a grand family entrance into our “engagement party” turned surprise wedding. The worst kept secret of 2022, however still fun. A rustic vibe with a gorgeous hanging floral centrepiece and 6L wine bottle instead of a cake.

My favorite feature was definitely the sewn-in cups and the pockets! Also the built in petticoat was great too.

We got married in a cathedral and had our reception at the family country club with 90 of our closest friends and family. Our getaway car was a 1948 Pontiac and it was so beautiful - and the dress fit pretty easily into it! Our reception had wonderful food, fun dancing, and a sparkler exit at the end of the night. It was one of the best days of my life and my wedding dress was a big part of it!

I was married in October and felt so beautiful in the Maggie Sottero dress. As a plus size woman I was nervous about what bridal gowns were out there for me, but I am so grateful to try a few samples in Dreamy Curves Bridal in Bray, Ireland and I was able to order the dress in my size. I loved the Selena dress immediately and with the minor alterations, it was perfect!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

The Selena gown is so chic, flattering and comfortable! I did not want to change out of my dress. I stayed it in all night even through the after party.

We got married at our hometown in Perth, Western Australia in the wine region of the Swan Valley. After a beautiful ceremony, we proceeded to speeches at sunset, then moved into a stunning marquee for dinner and dancing. It was a massive party with everyone we adore deeply. Our wedding was on a beautiful day in July. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day. We were surrounded by so much love and I felt so beautiful.

The material of the dress captured the light so magically, it had a glow that you see in movies and fairytales. The fabric and design was done so perfectly that there didn’t need to be any other details to show how outstanding this dress was!

I felt like the most elegant princess bride! The way it complemented my figure and how effortlessly stunning the dress was, made me feel like I never wanted to take it off and just felt so perfect in it!

Our wedding was at TreeChurch & Gardens in New Zealand. It was a location that I knew I wanted to get married at since I was a teenager - I had never seen anything else compare to how unique it was! It forecasted to be raining all day but as the ceremony began, the warmth of the sun started to peak through the vines of the Tree Church and it truly felt like a magical scene pulled out of a fairytale. The location, my dress, and everyone that came to celebrate, made the day so very special.

What was your favorite feature?

I absolutely loved the beauty and simplicity of this gown! It has the weight, substance and elegance of a ball gown, but was so comfortable to wear all day. The fabric looks and feels so creamy and silky in the daylight, and under artificial lighting has an extra pearl-like sheen. I was worried at first that this dress would be too formal for an outdoor wedding in September, but it was just right.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

Very calm, comfortable and confident. As soon as I tried on this dress, I kept coming back to it. I have a skin condition so scratchy fabrics and lace were out of the question for me, and even the lining on this dress is so soft and silky on the skin. Ultimately, it was the perfect blend of charming, elegant, simple, comfortable, modern and yet also traditional. Everything about my wedding was wonderful, but this dress helped make my day even more so.

A beautiful and memorable celebration in a quiet corner of Southern California under oaks and sycamores, surrounded by dear family and friends, made even sweeter by many reunions!

What was your favorite feature?

It's hard to pick - but probably the neckline. Timeless, elegant, and clean.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt graceful, confident, and like a queen - so comfortable and effortless! It felt surprisingly light despite the beautiful thick satin, and was a breeze to walk in. It fit perfectly with the regal aesthetic we were going for with our wedding day.

It was a beautiful day surrounded by our family and friends. The weather started out gloomy and rainy, but just as we stepped out of the church, it brightened up and was fully clear and sunny by the time we started our photos! Our wedding Mass was gorgeous, with choir boys singing in a historic cathedral. At our reception, which was at a historic hotel, the food was delicious, and the dance floor was busy all night long!

What was your favorite feature?

I loved that the material had a warm shimmer in the light. I felt like I was glowing! I tried on many ivory dresses but Selena had a gorgeous shine that sold me!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt very secure and supported in the bodice. The waistline was also very flattering. I truly felt like a princess with the pleats and full skirt.

My husband and I got married on December 2, 2023. I have always loved winter weddings and mine was everything I dreamed it would be. Our colors were ivory, black, gold, and touches of evergreen. We had lots of white florals, candles, and a few evergreen trees wrapped in warm lights. It was very soft and romantic. It was a beautiful day celebrating our eight years of dating and starting our newlywed life together. ?

What was your favorite feature?

I adored the a line silhouette and strapless neckline. Also, the elegant shine that this ivory dress has just looks STUNNING in person and in photos.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

This dress is so flattering! I felt like I was floating all day, and had endless confidence while wearing it. I actually didn't end up changing into my after party dress because I didn't want to take this one off!

Our wedding day took place across the New York Skyline. It was truly the most magical day with the perfect weather in March, I feel so lucky.

What was your favorite feature?

I loved every feature about my dress, but my favorite feature was the material. It looked elegant and felt elegant. I have been married for 6 months and I still have people compliment my dress, to this day.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like a princess! I never wanted to take this dress off.

Our wedding was a beautiful warm June day. The setting was a beautiful country club on the bay. With all of our close family and friends we had the country club filled with love.

What was your favorite feature?

I absolutely adored the buttons all the way down the back of the gown. The material of the dress combined with the buttons made it look so elegant, and the pockets added such a fun feature! I put my vow book in the pocket of my dress to walk down the aisle. It was incredible.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt beyond comfortable. As someone who wears athletic clothing most of my days, the straps and fit of the dress made it feel like I could do anything in it. I didn't have to worry about dancing, hugging, or moving around- the dress moved with my body and felt AMAZING. The material felt so expensive, and I felt so beautiful.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

I married my best friend on the most perfect 75 degree day under a beautiful white pavilion in Wisconsin with a sparkling chandelier overhead. We were surrounded by our friends and family from all over the country. We exchanged private vows and had a wonderful ceremony with my uncle as our officiant. The food, dessert, drinks, and dancing were all incredible and every second of the day was special. I couldn't have asked for a better day, a better dress, or a better husband. It was a dream!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt so unbelievably beautiful in this dress. I felt like the main character, the star of the show, and untouchable. The confidence I felt wearing this radiates in the photos and I am just so thankful to the Maggie Sottero team for creating such a dress.

We ended up eloping to NYC to celebrate our day in a way that was authentically us. We got married at the NYC courthouse and then had a 5-hour photoshoot with a photographer where we ran around Manhattan. The way I always described my vision for the day was "Early 2000s Rom Com" and I think we hit the nail on the head. She's giving Maid in Manhatten, When Harry Met Sally, and Breakfast at Tiffnay's. I added black gloves for a touch of chic and in my opinion, it took this dress to the next level.

The pockets! I was able to carry my phone and face mask the entire time.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

Like it’s the most special day of my life! I’ve never been one to dress up so being in the Selena wedding dress definitely felt so special. Due to Covid severely impacting the first time we said “I do”, we decided to have another ceremony to invite family and friends who weren’t able to make it the first time so I was able to wear my dress twice! The dress made me feel both bridal and joyful the instant I step into it!

I absolutely LOVE the full skirt! The pleating at the waist line elevates the dress above similar styles by other designers. The skirt and train is so beautiful, but isn’t heavy at all! I also adore the scoop neckline (on the strapless variation). A modern alternative to the sweetheart neckline that really makes the dress stand out!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

Gorgeous! It was exactly “me,” and I felt beautiful, elegant, and comfortable. I added a Maggie Sottero lace jacket for the ceremony, and my seamstress added a bow to the back. My bejeweled sneakers were the perfect touch for the reception!

As huge football fans, Josh and I got married at The Star in Frisco, headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys! The venue has an incredible lighting installation, perfect for our ceremony. Partying in the same space where the team hangs out was so fun for all our guests! Who else gets to say they got married next to 5 Super Bowl trophies?! The venue was modern and sleek, and my Selena dress fit the vibe perfectly. All the simple elegance and drama I was hoping for!

The dress was so flattering and made me feel so beautiful. It was easy to move around in and was so comfortable.

I felt like royalty in this dress. The entire day and through the night I felt like such a princess.

We got married at a historic mansion. The ceremony was outdoor under white wisteria flowers and the reception was in a white tent on-site. It was such an elegant event and this dress fit the theme perfectly.

What was your favorite feature?

I loved how well it fit me. I felt so comfortable in it. I have a bigger chest, so feeling secure (without straps) was a huge priority of mine. The corset top really pulled it all together! There was not one thing about this dress that I didn't absolutely LOVE!

I felt like a princess. This dress was is so elegant and timeless. The amount of compliments I received was unreal. This dress will make you feel like the bride you have always wanted to be!

Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. From all of our family and friends coming, to being able to celebrate our love, it was a day that we will never forget. I can't thank Maggie Sottero enough for designing a dress that made me feel like a princess the entire day. I was able to dance in my dress without any issues and was also able to just be myself all day, without worrying about any dress malfunctions!

Like a Princess! The train is so elegant and dramatic without feeling too little girly. Felt very secure which is also super important to me as I did a lot of dancing. It was also surprisingly easy to move around in to dance once bustled.
