What was your favorite feature?

I loved the sleeves on the dress, it really fit with the theme of my wedding in Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Club in Kildare Ireland.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like I was living in an era before my time, as the dress had a vintage feel to it. This suited the country estate vibe of Balyna House in Moyvalley. The shine from the dress really blended into my special day and made it an everlasting memory.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

I got married on Easter Sunday 09th April 2023 in Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Club in Enfield County Kildare Ireland. My make up and hair were done locally. The ceremony began at 2.30pm in the Stone House chapel, followed by a drinks reception in Balyna House which was a country estate many years ago. After the drinks reception we moved onto the hotel and had our wedding dinner. Followed by this we danced the night away to our wedding band. Once this ended we had a dj and danced the night away.

Two dresses in one!

What was your favorite feature?

I loved the removable sleeves on this dress. I had them off for the ceremony and added them for the reception. I loved having the classic A-line look for the ceremony, combined with the softer ethereal look for our first dance, dinner, and photos. It really is like having two dresses in one.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

The intricate detail of the floral embroidery and the sparkle of the inner tule layer made me feel like a fairy princess. The dress is so light and soft that it was really comfortable throughout the day.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

Our wedding was at a lakefront resort in northern Minnesota in early spring. We wanted to have a whimsical and playful vibe, so we walked down the aisle to music from Lord of the Rings and had our guests blow bubbles for us. The reception was inside the lodge, decorated with lots of greenery and bright florals. We took a quick break during the reception and took sunset pictures by the lake.
