What was your favorite feature?

The Johanna style won me over for two style perks. 1 was that I was obsessed with the train. The dress itself was more a-line but it had a gorgeous train on the back with pretty detailing. Number 2 was the sparkle underlay. When you look at the dress it just sparkles. Also, being able to add sleeves to it was a major bonus for this November bride!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt so comfortable and confident in my dress. The top was structured and just perfectly hit all the right places.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

We married 11/20/21 and it was truly the best day ever!! My husband and I starting dating in high school and finally got married 8 years later. We were surrounded with all of our favorite family and friends and couldn’t have felt more loved. The day of its so important to soak in every moment possible because it goes by so quick. We had a beautiful church ceremony and followed it by a night full of dancing at our reception.

What was your favorite feature?

My lovely gown offered (optional) detachable, illusion lace, long sleeves. Perfect! This allowed me to wear sleeves (with my veil) for the ceremony; and then remove them for an entirely different look for the reception. I also loved the lace-motif deep V back, adorned with covered buttons, leading down to the scalloped lace train.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I knew when I tried my gown on for the first time, that it was THE ONE! After alterations and fittings, the final product did not disappoint! All brides are beautiful on their wedding day; this gown allowed me to "feel the part"!

Our wedding took place in a stunning Conservatory venue. Surrounded by loving family and friends, the groom's uncle officiated the nuptials. A cocktail party followed, featuring hors d'oeuvres, endless champagne and a unique signature libation. Next, came a sumptuous dinner, complete with numerous toasts and wedding cake. Finally, guests enjoyed a joyous evening of music, dancing and fun. We were blessed; such a special celebration!

What was your favorite feature?

My favorite feature of the dress was the long lace train. It’s stunning! I also loved the layer of chantilly lace with sequins. It really made the dress sparkle, pictures don’t even begin to do it justice!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt beautiful and confident in my dress. It was surprisingly comfortable which was a huge plus.

I married my best friend at a historic mansion over looking the beach on Boston’s North Shore. We were surrounded by close friends and family, and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful day.

What was your favorite feature?

The dress is so figure flattering. The lace and beads are beyond beautiful. The train is the perfect length.

I felt the most beautiful I've ever felt in this dress. It is lightweight but still hugged my curves in all the right places!

We got married on a cool sunny autumn day in Upstate New York. It was everything my husband and I had hoped for and we literally had the best day ever! He was speechless when he saw me in my dress for the first time! I received so many compliments on my dress, I kept it on into the wee hours of the night and never felt uncomfortable. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding or the dress that I chose!

What was your favorite feature?

Honestly every feature was my favorite feature! ? From the beaded lace motifs over sequin chantilly lace, to the V neckline, to the covered buttons over the zipper, and to the scalloped lace train! ?

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

From the moment I tried on this dress, I knew it was THE dress. ?? It felt perfect, comfortable, beautiful, and confident! ?

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

I married my best friend on June 25, 2022 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. We had a religious ceremony in the Basilica Cathedral of Mazatlán surrounded by all of our family, friends, and loved ones. It was followed by a reception in the Hacienda San Ramon where our guests enjoyed dinner, deserts, fireworks, drinks galore, banda, midnight food carts, and so much more! We are truly blessed to have spent our day surrounded with so much love! ????

The train! When I first tried on the dress and saw how amazing the train looked behind me, I knew this was "the one". The beaded lace was another great touch. It really made the dress sparkle and just looked so elegant.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

This dress made me feel so gorgeous on my wedding day. The dropped A-line style was very flattering on my figure, while still allowing me to move freely throughout the day and not feel constricted like some of the other dresses/styles I had tried on. I received so many compliments!

We got married on a beautiful day in July at a lovely country club about 30 minutes from our home in the Upstate NY area. We were blessed to be surrounded by a large number of family and friends. We had the most amazing photographers who truly helped to capture the beauty of our day. I wish I could go back and do it all over again!

Beautiful late October fall day in the Pennsylvania! We were lucky with 60 degree and sunny weather. We chose a botanic garden as our venue

I wore Johanna by Maggie Sottero paired with blue shoes and a tear drop veil. We got married in our local cathedral with reception in a stunning riverside hotel. It was such a beautiful day. One to cherish

What was your favorite feature?

The scalloped train and the sparkly underlay. It is so pretty! Love the lace.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt so pretty! The most beautiful bride, my nieces called me a princess. I wanted a more fitted A-line that was flowy and comfortable and this dress did not disappoint. I did add a custom sparkly belt (not included) for an extra touch.

Tell us a little about your wedding day.

We got married the last weeekend in March in a 50 degree day with 200 of our closest friends and family in a small church and then had our reception at a beautiful venue near by. It was the most perfect day.

What was your favorite feature?

The beautiful glitter underskirt!!! The detachable sleeves were just stunning but my seamstress used the lace appliqué to create custom sleeves just for me that fit my personality. I loved the versatility that allowed this!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like a princess!!! It was truly the dress of my dreams but better than I ever could have imagined.

It was the day I’ve always dreamed of. My fiancé and I have been together for 9 years and engaged for close to two. It felt like we waited for this day to come forever and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We were married at the most beautiful venue surround by all the people we love we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

What was your favorite feature?

THE TRAIN! I loved every little detail of this dress, but the train was absolutely stunning.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I knew based on pictures online that Johanna was a dress that I wanted to try on. As soon as I saw it in person on the hanger, I knew that I loved it. The moment I stepped into it, it felt like the most comfortable dress that I had tried on and I immediately knew that it was the one! It was so flattering, but most importantly, I felt so comfortable, which was something I hadn't experienced in any other dress.

Our wedding was in late March at rustic, yet elegant venue in Massachusetts. It was the most perfect day despite the (freezing) rain! Thankfully, Johanna was comfy enough to run around in dodging the rain!!

The small details on this dress were absolutely stunning!

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

Absolutely amazing! The dress was so comfortable and made me feel beautiful all around!

My husband & I were married at Rose Hill Estate in Nashville, NC on March 18, 2023! We had the perfect day and the weather was beautiful! All of my wedding dreams came true & most of all I found my dream dress!

What was your favorite feature?

I absolutely loved the layers of lace in the skirt of the dress. The outer layer had the larger, full lace motifs which is what I had at the top of my list for what I wanted in my wedding dress. I loved how at every angle you look at the dress there is lace and sparkle.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like a princess without a full princess ballgown. The moment I tried on the sample dress, I immediately loved the shape of the fitted A-line. The movement of the dress when bustled was perfect for dancing and photos while being comfortable.

We got married in Monument, CO in July 2023. Our ceremony was outdoors with aspen trees, Colorado sunshine, and the Rocky Mountains in the background. It was a rustic, western day with our friends and family. Our favorite photos from the day were taken at Monument Lake in a drizzly rain.

What was your favorite feature?

My favorite features were the sheer bodice lined with organza, plunging illusion V-neckline, and the scalloped lace train.

I felt stunning and very beautiful in my wedding dress.

Both of us have a strong love for old western style and cattle. We were able to tie the two things together in our big day and have the most beautiful rustic, boho, turquoise, and cowhide wedding. I was in my dress for over 12 hours and by the end of the night after all of the dancing I still was not ready to take it off! Our day was the most perfect that both of us could have asked for!

What was your favorite feature?

The beautiful detail! From the scroll design to the beading/sparkle, this gown was so special and perfect.

How did you feel in your wedding dress?

I felt like a stunning bride! I was so comfortable in it and it showed off my curves just right.

I married my wife in the garden area at a modern barn in Missouri. Our perfect day was filled with love, joy, and happiness. We cannot get over how surreal our day was and how beautiful we both felt and looked. I received so many compliments on my gown and knew I made the right choice! I wish I could relive our day over and over again.
