What was your favorite feature?
I was blown away by the strength and durability of the corset. It was supportive without being uncomfortable.
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
As a plus size bride, I was so scared wear a wedding dress. But I felt more beautiful than I ever had in my gown. I was confident and comfortable all night long. I stayed in the dress for more than 10 hours! Every single person complimented me. I truly felt like the dress was made for me. I wore the Derrick, the Derrick didn’t wear me!
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
10/12/25 I married my high school sweetheart almost 15 years after dating! Zack and I met when we were only 15. We lived in different counties, went to different high schools, and ultimately made the decision to attend different colleges, too. We finally moved in together the day after graduation! Adult life tested us. Loss, grief and hard times only made us grow as a couple. Zack is my very best friend. There is no force on earth that could’ve kept us apart. I can’t wait for our next adventure!
