Inspired by the vintage glamour of her wedding dress\u00a0the bride incorporated elements of her dress into her wedding day. \u00a0&#8220;Much of our theme&#8217;s inspiration was drawn from my gown&#8217;s design,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We wanted to channel the classic elegance and glamour of Old Hollywood, and the timeless, romantic touches of eras gone by.&#8221; See more gorgeous photos, captured beautifully by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/anagramphoto.com\/\">Graham Terhune<\/a><\/strong>, below. The dramatic back, the delicate cap-sleeves, the intricate bead work and lace detail, and the scalloped hem. Of course, the sparkles! Every girl needs some sparkle on her wedding day. I love all of it!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite wedding day moment:<\/strong> &#8220;There were many wedding day moments that were incredibly romantic, and some that were just downright silly. During our ceremony, Zach jumped the gun and responded with &#8216;I will!&#8217; before the minister was even close to being done reciting his vows to him. Of course, all of guests (myself included) laughed as Zach grinned and blushed profusely. The minister also forgot to say, &#8216;You may kiss the bride,&#8217; after he pronounced us husband and wife. We stood there facing out guests, awkwardly waiting for him to say it as the recessional music started. I was feeling a little sassy, and decided I was going to get that kiss. I looked back at the minister, looked at Zach, and then shrugged my shoulders and leaned in for a big kiss!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advice for future brides:<\/strong> &#8220;Fret less over the little details and focus more on the big picture. No matter how tediously you plan everything to the minute, the universe and starts don&#8217;t always align exactly to your liking. The imperfect hiccups actually create the fonder memories. And, more importantly, they make your wedding unique to your love and your story. At the end of the day, rain or shine, hair precisely coiffed or not, you get to marry your best friend. And that makes it perfect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did he propose?\u00a0<\/strong>&#8220;Zach proposed to me on my parents&#8217; back porch swing where we had our first kiss in high school. We were sitting there star-gazing when he asked why I loved the porch swing so much. I told him it was because it was where we had our first kiss, and where he asked me to be his girlfriend when we were teenagers. This swing was the back drop of many romantic summer nights, long talks, and sweet kisses. Throughout the years, the porch swing had always reminded me of him. He smiled, kissed me and told me he wanted to give me one more reason to love the swing.
