It was the one. It&#8217;s so\u00a0clich\u00e9\u00a0to say, but words can&#8217;t describe the feeling I got wearing that dress!&#8221; Diana&#8217;s gorgeous wedding combined a traditional Christian ceremony with custom traditions from her family&#8217;s Indian culture for a breathtaking affair! The beading and lace were flawless. The way the light caught the beads and sparkled was so beautiful!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Favorite wedding day moment: &#8220;When my soon to be husband placed the manthrakodi on the top of my head. My family is originally from India, and in South Indian Christian marriages, the manthrakodi (Indian wedding sari) is a sari placed by the groom on the bride&#8217;s head. At that moment, the bride becomes part of the groom&#8217;s family. It meant a lot to us, and to me, to be able to mix traditions and cultures. It was a beautiful moment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Advice for future brides: &#8220;Don&#8217;t stress! I didn&#8217;t follow my own advice, but try to enjoy your partner and every moment of the planning process. It goes by too fast and it&#8217;s really easy to get caught up in little details.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Your wedding in one word: &#8220;Serene.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">First dance: &#8220;What I Needed&#8221; by Erin McCarley.
