My husband and I got married in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

I found Maggie Sottero in a bridal magazine. The first dress I saw in the magazine I knew I had to try on. So then I went to the Maggie Sottero website and I found a second dress that I absolutely loved. Both of these dresses were not at all destination dresses. They were ball gowns.

I emailed Isis Bridal in Brockville, ON to see if they had sample dresses of the Priscilla and Kendra wedding gowns. They had both! :)
I was thrilled and booked an appointment ASAP.

I tried the Priscilla gown on and it was really heavy, and I'm only 4'11" but I would be wearing 5" heels with the gown. Then I tried the Kendra gown and it was a size 12 and I needed to be fitted for a size 2...lol.

I fell in love with the Kendra gown instantly! They clipped it back tighter so I could imaging it in a size 2 fitting. I got a 6' veil that was sheer to see through with beading all along the edge. It was stunning!

I must admit I was sweating in the gown...but I was in Jamaica so that was to be expected. Thank goodness for powered deodorant!

I got so many compliments from guests at the wedding and random people at the resort. This dress was the perfect fit and made me feel like I was on cloud 9. My husband was stunned at how beautiful I looked.
