I had been "fun" dress shopping about 6 years ago (at that time, my now husband and I had been dating for 3 years and I was 19) and never really found a dress I liked except for the Capri Marie which I had l fell in love with about 4 years ago...and I couldn't find anything that really popped out to me that was like a drawing I made when I was like 15, of my dream wedding dress. When I finally got engaged, I took 3 of my bridesmaids with me to go dress shopping. So I tried on the Capri Marie...to my surprise, NONE of the girls loved it at all, they said I looked good in it but it wasn't the one...since these girls are my bests, I knew that they were right. So they started pulling dresses for me that they thought would be fun. One pulled out Miri, and everyone raved. I really liked it, but when I went by myself dress shopping I didn't LOVE it. I went dress shopping a few weeks later with a good friend of mine and I tried on a few dresses...the last dress I tried on was Nova and once the bridal consultant tied it up in the back I knew it was the one!! I cried! Nova helped me shape the theme of my wedding (along with hubby, of course, who came up with the peacock theme). I LOVED my wedding because it was a true representation of me and my hubby who are very colorful (not to mention, all of them were my favorite colors!!!!) Thanks, Maggie! No matter what, you make AWESOME dresses and I wouldn't have chosen another brand no matter what.
