I started loving Maggie about 1 1/2 years before my wedding! I saw Ambroisa in a bridal magazine and knew I wanted to be a Maggie Bride!! I went on this site and saw many beautiful dresses that I wanted to try on, but one stood out by far; Victoriana. I tried on a bunch of dresses (about 30), but I kept comparing all of them against Victoriana. I needed to try her on. So I called all the bridal salons that this site says are authorized dealers and only one (50 miles away) had it. I knew I had to see her and try her on! The sample was in gold and I just loved it!! I knew she was the one as soon as she was on, because the room just started glowing and so was I. Even though the gold is beautiful I knew I wanted a more traditional color. I ended up picking Ivory! Only because when I saw the dress in white in person it hurt my eyes to look at it and I felt the beading blended in a little to much. But Victoriana in Ivory is perfection!!!!
Days leading up to our wedding my now husband would point out different dresses to get my opinion. He was getting nervous :-) because he said he envisioned me a certain way. On the day of our wedding he had a huge smile on his face and told me my dress, Victoriana was perfect! It was the style and fabric he had hoped I would wear. The whole day people would come up to me and say I looked like a princess and/or a Barbie doll (but with dark hair)!! I even got called the vision of all the is beauty, LOL! I wish I could wear her again. And maybe someday we might renew our vows and I could :-)
