The most daunting part of planning the wedding was finding The Dress. I had a clear imagine in mind of what I wanted. It needed to be elegant and classic. After trying on countless number of dresses in the style I thought I wanted, I walked away from each appointment disheartened. One day I walked into a Maggie Stockist, and decided to have fun and try on the styles that were a no- no on my list. The last dress I tried on was THE ONE. It was everything I did not want, but when I saw myself, I was speechless...I was the princess bride.

The big day arrived. My husband was taken aback, it was a moment I will never forget. We got married in Cape Town, South Africa. The ceremony was held in church that was over 100 years old, and reception at The One & Only Cape Town. We chose of theme of romantic elegance. The day was perfect, from the best man crying when we said I do, to tears flowing from the laughter with the speeches. Our day was the perfect start to the beginning of out lives as Husband and Wife.
