I fell in love with my dress after I first tried it on - I had gone into the store with my heart set on a Grecian style dress, but was advised to try on a number of different styles to see what suited me and I picked out the Karena because of its unusual colour and lace detail - it looked exquisite, but I thought it would look too fussy on me. The dress slid on like a dream and fitted almost perfectly - there was even dancing room in it in spite of the laced-up bodice. My friend wept when she saw me and told me to buy it - the pearl rose with chocolate ribbon matched my colouring perfectly and completely set the theme for the rest of the wedding - my husband even wore a handsome chocolate brown suit to match, and our ringbearer, our beloved basset hound Tilly, also matched the colour scheme. We had such a beautiful day and I felt like the belle of the ball in my dress and everyone commented on what a stunning dress it was. I am going to keep it so that I can hand it down to any daughters I may have in the future, because its the sort of dress that will remain special in years to come.
