My husband had proposed to me shortly after our daughter was born. He had tied the ring with ribbon to a card that said "Will you marry my daddy?" On our way to dinner he had asked before we went in if I would change her, in an attempt for me to find the card on her lap. I of course said yes and as we walked into the restaurant. I was welcomed by both sides of our family, and friends. Shortly thereafter we had done a justice of the peace as he was getting ready to leave for the army and wanted to make sure our daughter with taken care of. With a promise of a big wedding for our families and us to enjoy, we renewed our vows this past Saturday on September 1st.
