I walked into the Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN to find the lace dress of my dreams. Upon our arrival, I immediately noticed a dress handing in a plastic bag on a rack. Through the bag, I could see the sparkly detail. I pointed to it and said, Now, thats a fun dress. Without knowing my dress consultant heard me, she pulled the dress and put it at the back of my rack to try on just in case we had time at the end of my appointment. She tried talking me out of trying it on given the appointment time was almost up and it was more than I wanted to spend. But I wanted to try it just for fun anyway. She agreed and after I had it on, I refused to take it off. After my lengthy search, I finally found THE ONE. I decided to splurge beyond my budget because the dress was so different, so fun, so elegant, so WOW, that the added detail definitely made the price tag worth it. The original dress I saw on the hanger when I arrived to the store had made its way onto the mannequin on the storefront window by the time we left the store and I knew I had picked something extra special. I had women AND MEN approach me all night of my wedding telling me how stunning the dress was...not something many guys even notice. I felt beautiful, elegant and incredibly sexy in this dress.
