Rachel Ridge, Maggie Bride
I wasn't really sure what sort of dress I wanted for my big day, but I knew it had to be something special. Having tried a few very different styles on in the shop, nothing felt quite right. When I saw the crystal detailing of the bodice on what would become my Martina dress and just knew this was the gown I had to have - just the right amount of sparkle - classic, elegant, a magical dress.
I tried it on and the fit was stunning. The dress has a really flattering cut and emphasizes a woman's figure in all the right places. The lace up back meant it didn't need to be altered at all, it was as if the dress was made for me, and the long train just sealed my decision.
Of course I was worried about whether my fiance would like the dress, but I needn't have been. As I walked up the aisle I was so sure I'd made the right choice - of husband and wedding gown! His face was a picture, and I really felt the best I've ever been.
Everyone was so complimentary of the dress throughout the day, I couldn't have been happier. We got married in a castle and my Martina gown was really fit for a princess. I've had it cleaned and will store it away so when I'm an old lady I can look back on it and remember how great I looked once upon a time! And if I have a daughter maybe she'll have her own princess moment in her own Maggie dress too.
